The Revd Canon Dr Charlotte Bannister-Parker is Associate Priest of the University Church of St Mary the Virgin, Oxford and chairs the Environmental Action Group, the Green Team. She has completed her doctorate on congregational response to climate change at the School of Theology, Boston University, USA. Charlotte is Eco-adviser to Faith in Leadership and is developing the Hope4Creation Foundation which will look at the relationship between Theology, Education, and Action. She is also a member of the Diocese of Oxford’s Environmental Task Group.
The Revd Dr Liz Carmichael MBE is an Emeritus Research Fellow at St John's College, Oxford, where she was Chaplain and Tutor in Theology. She has worked in South Africa as a medical doctor and a priest, and convenes OxPeace, the network for Peace Studies in Oxford.
Professor Richard Cooper is a distinguished Oxford scholar of the European Renaissance. In an Oxford career spanning forty years, Professor Cooper has held a variety of senior college roles and been deeply involved in many aspects of the life of the wider University, including as Junior Proctor and Chair of the Modern Languages Faculty Board. His distinguished academic record has attracted important research grants and a number of visiting professorships at universities in mainland Europe and the United States.
Rabbi Dr Michael Hilton works as a rabbi, teacher, and researcher. He is Tutor in Classical Greek at Leo Baeck College London; Scholar in Residence at the Liberal Jewish Synagogue London; Honorary Research Fellow at the Centre for Jewish Studies, University of Manchester; and Rabbi Emeritus, Kol Chai Hatch End Reform Jewish Community. He is currently researching the history of the influence of Islam on Jewish life.
Imam Monawar Hussein read Theology at the University of Oxford, majoring in Islam and the West. He trained as an Imam under the tutelage of the late Sheikh Dr Zaki Badawi KBE at the Muslim College, Ealing, United Kingdom. He also holds a Master of Arts degree in Abrahamic Religions awarded by the University of London. His research interests include Islam and the West, Interfaith dialogue, Islamic reform movements, Sufism and English literature.
Heather-Jane Ozanne's professional background is as a social worker, but for the last two decades she has been working in the field of peace and community building. She founded the charity Spirit of Peace (www.spiritofpeace.co.uk) and works with community projects in the UK, as well as international peace partners in Israel and Palestine. Spirit of Peace has recently launched a new website, www.flourishing.global, a hub for working for Earth and Human flourishing.
Rabbi Dr Judith Rosen-Berry lives and works in Oxford and London. In addition to being an active 'conservationist', and inter-faith advocate, she writes about and
teaches modern Jewish philosophy and theology at the Leo Baeck College, London.
